Blue Ridge Supports Stockings for Soldiers Campaign

The holidays are right around the corner, and truthfully, it's not a minute too soon. Everyone could use a little extra joy as we finish out 2020.

That's why Blue Ridge is excited to again support Stockings for Soldiers, a charitable campaign that delivers holiday gifts and seasonal cheer to our service men and women.

Currently, there are tens of thousands of active-duty personnel assigned outside the United States and its territories. With a larger than normal amount of PA Ground Troops deployed this year, these soldiers are hoping for some reminders from home this holiday season. With your help, we want to help make the holidays special for as many as possible.

Here's How Stockings for Soldiers Helps

Stockings for Soldiers is an annual campaign that delivers nearly 10,000 holiday stockings overseas. This is Blue Ridge's 11th year supporting the effort, which is led by Keystone Military Families. This Shoemakersville, PA based non-profit charity provides caring support for our troops, veterans, and their families.

Through the support of donations, Keystone Military Families packages and ships gifts like food, hygiene products, holiday cards, and other items that show we're keeping our troops near and dear to our hearts. This powerful gesture is a major commitment for us at Blue Ridge.

Give and Share, It's Easy

We're making it easy to donate. Please visit our secure donation page and give what you can. We're accepting PayPal, credit, and debit cards. With a $5 minimum donation, we will include a special holiday message adorning a die cut paper stocking to be included with the care package.

Our approach is a little different this year because we're asking for monetary donations instead of items. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we want to help keep items and shipping consolidated under one roof and minimize outside contact.

Blue Ridge is expecting another fantastic collection for this year's initiative, but we can't do it alone. Please help us get the word out and share the message with family and friends on social media. Online donations will be accepted through November 16. Thank you in advance for your care and support.
