Blue Ridge offers equipment that helps our blind and visually impaired customers access our television services.
Blue Ridge aims to make its website accessible for users with disabilities. If you are having difficulty using this website due to a disability, please contact us toll-free at 1-800-222-5377.
Accessibility features include:
- Screen Reader/TalkBack – a voice reads aloud the menu choices displayed on the TV screen.
- To turn on Screen Reader, Press the TiVo Home button on the top of the remote
- Using the left arrow key, highlight “Menu” from the options bar, and push OK on your remote
- You'll be taken into “Settings.” Use the down arrow key to highlight “Device Preferences” and press OK on the remote
- Use the down arrow key to page through the options until you highlight Accessibility. Press OK on the remote
- Use the down arrow key to highlight TalkBack and select it. You can toggle it on or off
- Video Description – a voice describes the action taking place on the TV screen. Note: Not all shows include a video description track.
