Blue Ridge is once again leading an initiative to deliver unopened, non-perishable food items to local food pantries to help fill their shelves.
With support from our customers and our employees, we can help make someone’s day a little brighter through our 18th Annual Community Cupboard.
Last year, we delivered over 1,000 pounds of food to local food pantries. Most people tend to think about donating to food banks around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. The timing of this food drive is important because local pantries are typically low this time of the year and need to restock their shelves for the Easter season.
Our goal this year is to double our efforts and collect 2,000 pounds of food for families in need – so we need your help!
Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, we have temporarily placed our food collection efforts on hold until our local retail centers reopen to walk-in traffic.
