During late February and continuing through mid-March, "sun outages" occur daily for several mintues when the sun passes behind a satellite and causes disturbances to signal reception, therefore causing TV signal degradation. You may experience anything from slight pixelation, snow, to complete signal loss. The outages during this cycle will be gradual and slight on the first and last days of the cycle, reaching a peak during mid-cycle. The exact number of days, times and duration will vary depending on the location. This is a temporary situation all TV providers experience twice a year.
