Troubleshooting - Digital Cable / DVR / HDTV

| ISSUE |
RESOLUTION |
| DISPLAY HAS INCORRECT TIME |
- Reboot digital box by holding in the Power button. The time will disappear on the settop display. Release Power button.

| DIGITAL BOX REBOOTS ITSELF |
- This sometimes happens when maintenance has been performed to the system.
- If the digital box does this constantly, there may be a problem with the box itself. Please call your local Blue Ridge Communications office. Click here for a list of our offices.

| NO GUIDE DATA |
- Reboot digital box by holding in the Power button. The time will disappear on the settop display. Release Power button.
- Scroll out a day or two and then scroll back to current time. Do this by using the left and right arrow buttons.

| NO SOUND |
- Make sure volume is turned up.
- Make sure mute button isn't on.
- Check inputs on digital box and make sure you are using audio/video cables and they are snug and plugged in properly.

| BLUE SCREEN OR SNOW |
- Make sure the output is hooked up to coaxial.
- Make sure TV is on Channel 3.
|
| "IF USING A POWER STRIP OR SURGE PROTECTOR" |
- Main coax/cable wire must go directly to digital box, out the digital box to the power strip/surge protector and then to the TV.
- If the coax/cable goes into the power strip/surge protector the digital box will be knocked into broadcast mode.

| "REPROGRAM DIGITAL REMOTE" |
Turn the digital remote over and follow the directions on back. Click here if you need manuals/instructions for remotes.

| HDTV IS ON WRONG OUTPUT |
Change TV input back to 'component' or 'DVI' using TV remote.

| NO VIDEO AND/OR AUDIO BUT CHANNEL BANNER IS VISIBLE |
Reboot digital box by holding in the Power button. The time will disappear on the settop display. Release Power button.

| HDTV SETTOP BOX KEEPS REBOOTING ITSELF |
